Looney will not be heading to the Hilltop to play his college basketball.
Georgetown Hoyas '14 five-star SF target Kevon Looney trimmed the list of schools he is still currently considering to six last night and the Hoyas didn't make the cut.
Who is Looney still looking at? He told ESPN's Paul Biancardi that his final six schools include Duke, UCLA, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan State and, the in-state school, Wisconsin. At this point, the Crystal Ball for Looney reads 100% for the Duke Blue Devils.
With Isaac Copeland and L.J. Peak, both of whom can play the same position as Looney, already in the fold for the 2014 class the Milwaukee, Wisconsin product has decided to look elsewhere than the Hilltop.
Now that Looney is officially out of the fold, look for the Hoyas staff to continue to make a push for Texas big man Elbert Robinson to join the 2014 recruiting class with Copeland, Peak and local PG product Tre Campbell.
